Camp Lovewell - Admissions Policy

Camp Lovewell seeks children and youth who possess a strong desire to participate in outdoor activities, the ability to get along with other children and adults, and the willingness to try new things. Campers must be prepared for outdoor activities including swimming, boating, hiking, archery, low ropes, team building, sports & games. Campers must also participate cooperatively in drama, arts & crafts, camp sing-a-longs, and cooperative activities.

Children will be granted admission only after the application process is complete. If a child is accepted, we will require payment of registration fee and deposit, and the completion of all necessary forms including a well-child health form signed and dated by the child’s pediatrician or a licensed health practitioner and required immunizations. If there are no current openings in the appropriate age group, the child’s name will be placed on a waiting list and the parent will be notified when a slot becomes available.

Horseback riding lessons are on a first-come first-serve basis and are at an additional cost. Riding lessons fill early. In order to secure a riding lesson, payment must be received in advance. There are no make-ups for missed lessons or if a rider does not come prepared to ride.
