2nd Nature Academy - Admissions Policy
2nd Nature Academy seeks students whose strong desire to learn and ability to think creatively suggests they will thrive in the school’s challenging, integrated academic environment that they will contribute the school and the community. Students admitted to 2nd Nature Academy and their families are expected to embrace the school’s mission statement and philosophy.
Admissions decisions are based on a combination of factors including:
· Campus tour with student and parents
· Application
· Student essay
· Submission of academic records
· Personal interview with the student and parents
· Student classroom visit
Academic readiness or achievement, social and behavioral maturity, and motivation will be considered. Arrangement of a given grade and the school may also influence the decisions of individual student selection.
